About Us

My name is Scott Hart, owner of Copperhead Ridge Firearms. I was born and raised in Avon IN. Ever since I was a young man I have had an interest in firearms. I can recall being about 5 years old when I had my first pistol and by the age of 9 I was an avid outdoors man and hunter. My career has taken me through many professions in which I learned many of life’s experiences. That has helped guide me in a direction to be able to enjoy my true passion, the firearms industry.

After working, and in some cases managing, several large businesses I decided to leave the corporate world. It was time to pursue my own American dream. In 2017 it was time to finally make that dream come true and open my own firearms store, Copperhead Ridge Firearms. Copperhead Ridge was the name of a large family farm that I owned. However, I want more than a brand or just a name for my store; I want to build a legacy.

I wanted to be able to share my experience and knowledge with my customers. To do this I knew I needed the best qualified staff. After thorough screening I hired a group of individuals that would best represent the most well-rounded qualities needed to serve the customer’s needs. In this group I included experienced business managers; experienced competitive shooters; certified armorers; former and active law enforcement officers; certified firearms and defensive tactics instructors with military and law enforcement experience. Heck we even have a certified pilot if we need to fly you somewhere. OK seriously, our number one thing is customer service with access to a large variety of exotic firearms and products at great pricing.
